One thing I can’t go without in my daily beauty routine is leaving my house without mascara. I’ve always loved dramatic eyes, and I love how lashes accentuate eyes. So when I ran out of my current mascara, I was on the hunt for a new one to try.

As I was on my way to my local drugstore, I stumbled across the Wet n Wild section and instantly noticed the packaging on the new Wet n Wild Max Volume Plus mascara. Not only did the hot pink tube and white lettering easily grab my attention, but it also retails for only $5.99! That’s a steal.
Also after reading that it contains macadamia nut, jojoba and olive oils to condition and enrich my lashes, I was sold.

The mascara has a lightweight consistency that does not clump or flake once dried. I also love that you can reapply as many coats as you like and your lashes will not look cakey. The wand is also very nice with rubber bristles that easily glide on.

It gave me super long lashes, leaving them nicely separated and defined.
What better way to pump up the volume and add some flair to your look than with a dramatic fall look?
One of my favorite fall trends is wearing a dark lip and a bandolero hat to complement the look.

Overall, if you are looking for a good, volumizing mascara that will keep your lashes separated for a good price, definitely give this one a try.

Wet n Wild Max Volume Plus Mascara retails for $4.99 and can be found at Target and other retail stores.

Achieving the “perfect” winged eyeliner can be so tedious at times, but with just enough practice you can get this technique down in a jiffy! In this video demonstration I will show you how I achieve my daily eyeliner with (2) different types of liners.

These are currently my two favorite liners in the market:

If you are looking for the blackest matte gel liner, this is it right here! Not only does it glide on so smoothly, but the pigment is perfect!

I stumbled across this brand while walking through union square and decided to try out their eyeliner. I have never been crazy about felt tip eyeliners, but this one right here is amazing! It makes the process of lining your lids even easier and to top it off, it’s waterproof!

I was utterly obsessed with this video/song when it first came out and was inspired by the Queen herself Ms. Badu to recreate this look from Janelle Monae’s video Q.U.E.E.N. In this tutorial I will show you how to create a basic cut crease eyeshadow like the one she is sporting in her video. P.S. I am wearing a wig I made myself using Mercy Extensions Mongolian Kinky hair.

Check out my tutorial for this look below:

Absolutely loving my new lip crayon from Burt’s Bee’s! If you are into natural makeup, then this little gem here is perfect for you. It has a creamy-matte finish and is made with 100 percent natural ingredients. I love the fact that it is really moisturizing and well pigmented. It’s a jumble pencil but no need to sharpen it, you can just simply twist the bottom to push up the lipstick. By the way, I am wearing the shade Carolina Coast (423). Natural makeup for the win, I’m sold!

Ingredients:
Shea Butter — Shea Butter helps to hydrate and moisturize dry lips leaving them feeling soft and smooch-worthy smooth.
Enriched with conditioning Jojoba Oil and Kendi Oil, which are chock full of Omega 3 to hydrate and moisturize lips. And don’t forget the Shea Butter for an extra dose of moisture.
I purchased this at Bed Bath & Beyond, but you can totally find this product at any beauty or local drugstore and online.
