I am absolutely in love with the Adore Curls product line! Not only are their products natural but they are also cruelty free. I tested these products for over a month on my hair to see how it would react, check out the review below for more deets!

It even comes in the cutest packaging, totally loved that!

Light Conditioning Cream & Moisturizer
I may have found another staple! Not only is this product lightweight, but you can also use it daily as a moisturizer! The consistency is medium to light and a little goes a long way. I used this on my wash and go and on twist outs and they turned out lovely!

Whipped Dream Hair Butter (Trial Size)
This cream is amaze balls! I used this to coat my strands for extra moisture and it did the job! Not only did it keep my hair moisturized but it even softened it as well. You can even use this on your skin! It has a thick consistency, but once you rub it in your fingers it becomes a really light pomade. It also smells delish, like a tropical concoction!

Ingredients:Shea Butter, Argan Oil, Golden Jojoba Oil, Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Vitamin E, Premium Fragrance Oil

Liquid Luxe Hair Oil (Trial Size)
This is such a great sealant! I used this oil with the LCO Method (Liquid, Cream & Oil), but aside from the LCO Method this oil can be used is so many ways! Hot oil treatment, pre-shampoo, sealant and even on your skin! Sealants are great for locking in moisture and this product does the job.

Final Thoughts:
I was really impressed with this product line; my hair responded great to the Adore Curls products and my hair felt moisturized without me having to reapply more product. I also found that it did not cause any heavy build up, which is a major plus! I will definitely be adding these as staples. I noticed that my hair always responds better to products that have natural ingredients as opposed to the rest. The only two con’s I found was the smell in the Light conditioning Cream, it has like a minty smell that I wasn’t crazy about, but I found that once it dries it totally goes away! The other con would be the price, it is a bit on the expensive side, but the products are totally worth it! The ingredients are of high quality and natural, which are going to help keep your hair and scalp healthy. I love that the creator of these products is also a naturalista and has formulated these products after realizing that the key to healthy hair and great products is quality ingredients.

Cheers to not using shampoo! If you are ready to give up shampoo or are looking for other methods of cleansing your hair, well then here is another effective method of cleansing your hair naturally. Also, keep in mind that going “no ‘poo” can be a different experience for everyone, depending on your natural hair and scalp condition.

What is a Herbal Rinse?
A hair rinse is a very inexpensive and great way to treat and strengthen hair and scalp, and many of these ingredients can be found in your kitchen. Herbal rinses are known to help with circulation in the scalp, aiding in the stimulation of the hair follicle which leads to hair growth. Some even have the potential to help repair scalp disorders such as dandruff, itchy or flaky scalp and stunted hair growth.
Ready to try it out? These herbal hair rinses are amazing. They are so easy to make and will leave your hair feeling soft and your scalp clean and revitalized, but not stripped or dried out. Use once a week to replace your shampoo for good and allow your natural oils to condition each strand from root to tip. Check out the rinses below.

If you are looking for another way of cleansing your hair rather than using shampoo, then the Bentonite Clay would be the perfect alternative for you! Not only is it 100% percent natural, but it is also great for all hair types and can be used as a facial mask.

What is Clarifying?
Clarifying is the process of removing buildup from your scalp and hair.
When to Clarify?
You will usually know when it is time to clarify when you curl pattern is limp or your hair looks dull.

I purchased my Bentonite Clay at my local Whole Foods supermarket, but you can totally get the clay in some beauty supply stores or better yet on Amazon.

Bentonite Clay is a very unique substance, mainly formed of Montmorillonite, which is an extremely flat crystal flake, that carries a relatively strong negative ionic charge. When you activate the clay, the negative charge absorbs all of the toxins magnetically. Think of it as a vacuum sucking out all of the bad stuff!

How to use the Bentonite Clay?
Mix the powder with a liquid of your choice (Apple Cider Vinegar, Aloe Vera, Rose Water or water) until it is a creamy consistency (you want it to just glide through your hair since you are raking it in). Also make sure to use a wood or plastic spoon instead of metal. (Contact with metal may decrease the clay’s potency)
Tip: Aloe Vera seemed to work best in terms of softening my hair as opposed to the other liquids, although you can try and feel out the other solutions and test what works best for your hair.

Apply it in sections by raking it in through the hair and concentrating mainly in the scalp area. Leave in for about 15-20 min’s then rinse! Check out the video below for a step by step process on how to clarify with Bentonite Clay.
Tip: It may be a little drying after you cleanse, make sure you rinse with cold water to seal the cuticle and condition after to restore moisture in your hair.
